I don't know how I stumbled across this relatively fresh photographic genre.... but I am LOVING it. Called "Bokeh," this form of photography thrives where other types fail. The blur. Bokeh describes the rendition of out-of-focus points of light. The term comes from the Japanese word boke (暈け or ボケ), which means "blur" or "haze", or boke-aji (ボケ味), the "blur quality". Whoever decided to run with this and work with it, I thank you. I stare into these photos and am captured at their other-worldly appeal, seeming to exist on the edges of reality. Gorgeous, shiny, colorful. Bokeh is here to stay!
