Bridging the Gap between the Real and Digital Worlds -- You NEED to see this!

Until I saw this video I thought I was pretty smart. Well Pranav Mistry is now the smartest guy I've ever seen. This talk, filmed last November at TED India, is the most eye-opening thing I've seen in a long, long time. Pranav shows us how to close the gap between the data in our computers and the objects we interact with in the real world. For under $300 in hardware he produced his Sixth-Sense device that will totally blow your mind. Don't even think about buying an iPad, buy one of these babies instead as soon as they hit the market.

Pranav Mistry is definitely someone who I will be following in the future!

BRILLIANT!!!!! Truly revolutionary!!! I can't wait for the day where we don't have to sit in front of the computers all day, and actually do things outside!!! Super!

Ive seen a few videos from past TED's and it always blows my mind..
The sixth sense device reminds me of the computing from Minority Report.. and with a bit more development will be there.

Here's another video on the same subject by Pranav's professor at the MIT Media Lab Pattie Maes.
