My Modern Metropolis

Christopher Conte chose to be an artist after having worked for 16 years as a certified prosthetist. Bronze and carbon fiber, aero space- and medical materials are some of the materials he uses in his art. These pieces are made with skill, patience and preciseness.

This new career path proves to be very successful. In 2007 He began offering his unique art pieces. Only a year later his work had already been shown at the National Museum in Washington DC.

Now Conte has not only made many appearances on television including the Discovery Channel and MTV, but the FBI has also shown great interest in his work.

What an interesting journey this man has. If you want to find out more about his work go to his website, www.microbotic.org .

His next exhibition will be at the Shadow’s Space Gallery in Philadelphia from December 4, 2009 to January 31, 2010
