I've been a fan of photographer Cig Harvey's storytelling portraits for quite some time so it brings me great pleasure to announce that she's recently created a book. You Look at Me Like an Emergency is a visual autobiography exploring the photographer's central relationships over the course of more than a decade. Like a map of a woman's emotional journey through life, you'll experience everything from love and hope to loss and rejection. The book is filled with 74 beautiful photographs and 17 personally written vignettes. Here's a sample of what you'll find.
