This year, Alamo Drafthouse (an Austin film theater/institution) worked with Jason Munn in creating a series of clever posters for their Texas Monthly Rolling Roadshow. (Remember last year they worked with Olly Moss?) The Oakland-based illustrator is known for designing posters for local venues and independent musicians under the pseudonym The Small Stakes. (Here's some of his past work that we loved.)
Munn's a genius at taking movie posters or music albums and remaking them into modern masterpieces (in a very minimalist way).
