The Ora watch is a rad new concept by Greek designer Alexandros Stasinopoulos. Breaking completely out of the box, the time is displayed by three separate, yet seemingly cohesive, measuring tapes which display the hour, minutes, and day.
"The design of the case reflects an 'inside-out' design approach as it was the mechanism's arrangement that prescribed the overall form in an attempt to enhance its uniqueness and create a distinctive silhouette," says Stasinopoulos.
Although the watch seems a tad bulky, I'm blown away by the originality and creativity behind the timepiece. Stasinopoulos' design is unlike anything I've ever seen, and is even more impressive because it really excels in form and function.
