Cool Concept: Seabreacher Dolphin Speed Boat (8 pics + video)

This has to be one of the most outrageous aquatic vehicles I've ever seen! Inspired by dolphins, the Seabreacher is a submersible watercraft that is able jump, dive, and roll through the water at speeds up to 40mph, or 20mph underwater.

Designed and manufactured by Innespace Productions, the boat took over 10 years to develop and is easy enough to drive and maintain for the average person. The driver and a passenger are kept dry inside a sealed cockpit, but are free to look around through the glass top.

Innespace offers a few different models to choose from. It retails for about $48,000 and comes with a number of options such as additional view ports and custom upholstery. Could you imagine watching these vessels compete in a 3D environment, jumping over and under obstacles and hitting objects? Imagine motocross in the sea...

Interesting concept. It is an air breathing (gasoline) engine though so you won't be staying underwater for long!
