Cool Concept: Self Driven Electric Police Car (6 pics)

So, I guess this concept isn't that cool if you're running away from the cops... Designed by Carl Archambeault, the Scarab is a self driven police assistant that removes the human element from high speed chase scenarios.

The Scarab sits idle near the patrol car, and when a vehicle is caught speeding, the office tags the speeding vehicle with a radar gun. Once the car is tagged, the signal is sent to Scarab, which commences the chase. The Scarab doesn’t carry any weapons, but with today’s advances in technology, it is possible to equip Scarab with EMP or signal jamming devices to bring the vehicle to a halt.

The Scarab is a 100% electric powered, lightweight, small, and fast making it nearly impossible to lose with zero emissions.
