I could not find too much information on this other than it is somewhere in London and is in some unused tunnels. I think this is a great idea and an interesting way of reclaiming public space. The parks would be usable in any weather, year round and add some lights and they can be open 24 hours a day. Your move NYC!

I can answer your question. The park exists and is called White Grounds skatepark at London Bridge. I think it first opened in 2006 or 07.... although the most popular skate park in London is Bay 66 skate park - it has a lot of art work on the walls which constantly changes. But the skate facilities are also pretty cool.
