Cool Concept: Wall-Climbing Car (9 pics)


Hold on to your seat folks, this one's a doozy...

For those living in high-rise apartments in the city, parking can be a real hassle. Now imagine if you had a car that could climb walls and park right outside your apartment window. Far fetched, yes. Impossible, probably not.

This computer mouse-looking concept car is called the Peugeot Metromorph and was created to face the evergrowing issues of metropolitan cities. The vehicle is powered by two in-wheel motors and two battery packs placed in the back, and is designed with rotating arms that keep the seats level when going vertical of horizontal. When attached to the apartment, the vehicle acts like a balcony and its seat become lounge chairs. Check out the video below to see it in action.

that is one crazy car! It's more like an elevator. I don't think I'd be willing to ride it up the side of a tall building.
