Integrated into the existing urban landscape, the Elevated Bench climbs up traffic lights, lamp posts, and brick buildings. Although the custom-built staircases by Israeli designer Itay Ohaly aren't the most practical, they do provide a fun, new way to see the city. The Elevated Bench also gives pedestrians a more private, perhaps even romantic, space for conversation.
