Last week, artist Dave White opened an exciting exhibition in London called Natural Selection. While we're used to seeing his dripping and splattering watercolor paintings, we hadn't yet explored his stronger, abstract oil painting side.
Natural Selection is about the beauty, majesty and magnificence of incredibly rare animals. "Their threatened existence and battle for survival hangs in the balance, where natural camouflage is no longer a reliable defense, leaving them vulnerable and exposed," says White.
These powerful oil paintings as well as works using watercolor can be seen at The Hospital Club Gallery until July 7.
