Rome

To many people, death is a very uncomfortable subject. Perhaps it's because there are so many unanswered questions. What will happen when you die? Where will you go? Will anyone remember you? Leaving everyone and everything behind is a daunting task that is difficult to imagine.
Three Italian students, Andrea Pilia, Adriano Leo, Dario Cataldi, were studying in Strasbourg, France when they created this powerful series. "Death is unbearable for those who can not live. Death is unbearable for those who must live," they say.
There is no doubt that these images have a profound impact on viewers. Thing is, everybody has a different perspective on the subject. Some may be shocked and afraid, while others see beauty and peacefulness. But for all of us, it makes us take a step back, appreciate our lives, and reminds us that this wild ride we call "life" isn't going to last forever...
