Dominic Wilcox has added five new pieces to his watch sculpture collection, covering topics from protests to soccer. The British designer has created mini sculptures that are centered around the theme "Moments in Time." The scenes are drawn from "everyday observations and imagined situations." Wilcox uses such an innovative approach to skillfully captures these snapshots of life. The sculptures aren't static, however, they have been placed on the hands of the clock so the pieces move with time.
Wilcox states, "I spend most of my time attempting to reveal the hidden surprises which are embedded within the banal, everyday things that surround us." The miniature sculptures are extremely intricate and appropriately convey compelling stories. He adds, "I also experiment with materials to find surprises that can't be found simply by thinking with a pen or computer." His previous works are featured here.
