Nagano Toyokazu from Ishikawaka, Japan
You may remember Hideaki Hamada as the father of two sweet sons growing up in Japan. He recently started a Flickr group to get the word out that Japan needs our help. He tells us that there are "suffering people in disaster areas that are in serious situations."
Here are some things you can do:
1. Put the title "Please Donate For Japan Earthquake" in your picture.
2. Add links so people know where to donate. Include a line like this: "Please donate to the following links. Thank you."
Any Flickr member can join this project, it's not just for the Japanese. At the time of this post there are 408 members.
"I believe the power of our photographs will make people around the world act," Hamada says. Here a few examples from the group.
