Playful Trumpets Made Entirely of Glass Emphasize the Harmonious Beauty of Nature

Sculptor Etai Rahmil utilizes a traditional glass blowing technique to create museum-worthy trumpets. While some of the delicate and creative pieces in his Symphony of the Seasons series serve as tributes to the musicians and artists who inspire him, others are influenced by the cyclical beauty of Mother Nature. One trumpet curves and bends to form the vibrant roots, stem, leaves, and petals of a stunning red flower, another plays with various angles to reveal the crystallization of an intricate snowflake. Aside from these visually detailed designs, Rahmil is able to combine various art forms into one cohesive piece. Music, glass blowing, nature, and the art of sculpting all work together to bring the artist's dynamic ideas to life.

These featured trumpets are all in collaboration with Phil Siegel. You can see more glass trumpets from Rahmil's growing series on his website.
