Designed by 31-year old Brian Chan, these amazing origami insects have a remarkable amount of detail in them. Each one of these incredible pieces is made from a single sheet of paper that hasn't been cut. It takes careful planning to get the right form from the folds, which Chan says adds that "extra challenge."
Many look so life-like that they can be considered miniature sculptures. Brian Chan has been practicing origami since he was young and now teaches at MIT, which is the home of another magnificent origami artist, Jason Ku.
Chan doesn't create just insects, he has a large collection of works that can be seen on his website.
