Fading Human Sculptures Made of Iron Nuts

Valencia, Span-based sculptor Manuel Martí Moreno creates figurative sculptures made out of iron nuts. The iron used in his sculptures have clear signs of decay, but this is no accident. The decay symbolizes the concept of time and its transience. To further this concept, the sculptures look as though they are slowing fading away. Parts of them are incomplete, creating what looks like an unfinished sculpture. Check out Moreno's website for more wonderful figurative sculptures from this series as well as others.
