Fashion Week Tea Party: Eat Your Louboutin

Who doesn't love miniature, edible art? During New York fashion week, the Bergdorf Goodman will launch its version of Prêt-à-Portea, an afternoon tea originally launched by the Berkeley Hotel in London. The girls’ club will feature confections inspired by the latest collections. We're talking cookies, petits fours and layered desserts based on designs from Christian Louboutin, Chanel, Marchesa, Oscar de la Renta, Michael Kors, Thakoon and 3.1 Phillip Lim.

“There were definitely designers that came down the runway that you thought, Dessert,” said Patel, who cited Kors’s “cheeky, Fourth of July-colored” spring dresses as a perfect candidate for a layered mousse and Chanel’s iconic quilted purse as a potential cookie.

New designs from some of our favorite designers in edible art form? This is my kind of tea party.

Ladies, the event runs from Feb. 13 to 20.
