My Modern Metropolis

A Balloon Bench! What more could a child ask for? This creative design is the work of h220430 design principal Satoshi Itasaka. The Japanese designer was visually inspired by the mute, red balloon in the French movie Le Ballon Rouge.

Ready to find out the secret behind the illusion? Though it appears to be floating, the bench is actually suspended from the ceiling by four anchors that are wonderfully concealed by the red balloons. Itasaka's bench would fit perfectly in the Up-inspired floating house!
