You may have been mesmerized by all those beautiful Victoria Secret models that you didn't notice that this year's fashion show was held at the newly restored Fontainbeleau Hotel in Miami Beach. In the 1950s and 1960s this hotel was knows as the epitome of glamour and decadence, where you'd likely be able to hear Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack sing a little tune. After a $1billion renovation and expansion, the resort debuted once again to a new generation of celebrities at the Victoria Secret show including everyone from P. Diddy, Kim Kardashian, Terence Howard, to Heidi Klum and her angel friends. Just to give an idea of how gargantuan this development is here are some quick stats: + 1,504 guest rooms (twice the number of the Fontainebleau’s largest competitor, Loews in South Beach)— just under half of them suites in two new towers. Each features granite counters, walk-in showers and separate jetted tubs, flat-screen TVs and even a new Apple computer. That last part is the centerpiece of the "paperless" hotel — meaning all guest correspondence will be electronic. Sweet! + Standard rooms range from 500 square feet to 1,742 square feet, and suites max out at a cavernous 4,000 square feet. + 40,000-square-foot spa with mineral-rich water therapies and co-ed swimming pools was a two-story undertaking with a jagged, modern exterior, is covered in endless white marble. Post-treatment, guests end up in a coed lounge with its own pool, where specialized jets control several different temperature zones. Upstairs is the 5,800 sq foot exercise area, whose floor-to-ceiling windows offer expansive views of the ocean and grounds. + 11 world class restaurants and clubs + 10 swimming pools with private cabanas and flat screen TVs And if you can't make your way out to Miami anytime soon...stay tuned for Fontainebleau coming to Las Vegas in 2009! Not to be outdone, Fontainebleau hotel/condo development in Las Vegas is a $2.9 billion development on the strip that will have 3,812-room on 68 floors!

It will also include: + A 100,000-sq.-ft. casino + Lapis, a 60,000-sq.-ft. spa + A 3,200-seat performing arts theater + 300,000 sq.-ft. of retail space + 390,000 sq.-ft .of indoor and outdoor conference space + State of the art nightclubs + 27 restaurants and lounges Signature dining experiences will include: - The Michelin-star rated cuisine of executive-chef Alfred Portale at Gotham Steak - A regional Italian menu by James Beard Award recipient Chef Scott Conant - A renowned Chinese restaurant featuring Michelin-star rated Cantonese cuisine - Indulgences, a 5,000-square-foot chocolate factory Time to live large!
