LEGO Fan Builds a Fully Functional Typewriter That Can Actually Type

LEGO bricks can become almost anything, and fans continue to push the medium in wildly inventive ways. From elaborate recreations of Erebor, the Lonely Mountain from The Hobbit, to runway-ready botanical fashion, the only real limit is imagination. A LEGO builder known as Koenkun Bricks recently put that idea to the test with a fully functional LEGO typewriter.

South Korean School Creates 3D-Printed Yearbooks for Visually Impaired Students

Graduates at Daegu Kwangmyeong School in South Korea recently received yearbooks unlike any others. Instead of traditional photographs, these students, who are visually impaired, were given 3D-printed yearbooks that allow them to experience their school memories through touch. Founded in 1946, Daegu Kwangmyeong School serves students with visual impairments from kindergarten through high school. It remains the only K-12 educational institution in the Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province region dedicated exclusively to visually impaired students.

Kawasaki Unveils Rideable Robot Horse That Can Climb and Gallop on Any Terrain

Japanese manufacturer Kawasaki is renowned for its high-performance motorcycles and watercraft. Now, the vehicle manufacturing giants seem to have something even wilder up their sleeves. Last month, the company announced Corleo, an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) that looks like a futuristic horse. The reception was so animated, that Kawasaki is speeding up the process to make it available to the public sooner than previously thought.
