Prismatic Sculptures Made of Miles and Miles of Thread

By now, you've seen many incredible examples of Gabriel Dawe's unique rainbow-colored sculptures created using miles and miles of thread. Our first post about his stunning works was back in November 2010, and since that time Dawe has continuously put out magnificent pieces.

When Lincoln asked us to pick artists who we believe are at the forefront of their genre, Dawe was at the top of our list. Because Lincoln celebrates artistry that is innovative and thoughtful while giving a nod to heritage, Dawe’s installations, which are both ethereal and socially symbolic, were a natural choice. Today, we invite you to get to know the Mexico-born artist a bit more while reading this exclusive one-on-one interview we conducted with him.
