Grateful Woman Adopts Stray Dog Who Saved Her Life From an Unexpected Attack

Georgia Bradley and her new dog Pepper have rescued each other in a profoundly beautiful way. While the 25-year-old woman was visiting a beach in Greece, she found herself in an unexpectedly dangerous situation. Two men approached her and invited her to go out with them. Bradley refused and, suddenly, one of them seized her arm. That's when a heroic stray dog jumped in and barked at the strangers until they left her alone. “She saved me. She must have noticed something was wrong,” Bradley told Plymouth Herald.

It seems that the heroic stray wasn't done protecting her new friend because she ended up walking Bradley home as well. “We had an instant bond,” she said. “When we left to go to the airport, we looked back and Pepper was running after the car. It was heartbreaking.” To return this meaningful favor, the young woman ended up flying 6,000 miles back to Greece so that she could adopt the stray. When the lovable animal made it home to the U.K., she received the name Pepper and ended up giving birth to six puppies. “It has been such a crazy journey,” explained Bradley. “But I am over the moon. Pepper has settled in brilliantly.”
