Prize package #4 is for those people who believe execution is just as important as inspiration. Making Ideas Happen is written by Scott Belsky, the founder and CEO of Behance, a company on a mission to empower and organize the creative world. His book offers greats tips on productivity and organization that are based on real stories.

The Selby is all about home inspiration. Todd Selby gives us a voyeuristic look inside the homes of creative people, not only giving us a more intimate look at those we've often admired, but also inspiring us to find our own creative spirit.

So how are you going to win these books?

Just answer these questions. What or who inspires you...and why?

Contest ends Thursday at midnight. Here's the twist. You can enter as many times as you like. The more answers you give, the better your chances. However, in the end, the best answer will win. Good luck!

And MUSIC....life would just be soooo dull without it...Music has the ability to transform emotions,it brings people together, brings up memories good and bad in an instant...
Music is definitely something that inspires me over and over, every single day....I cannot live a day without it!

The answer for me would be Children. Children inspire me to think outside the box, to do things 'unconventionally' just because it should be done that way and not because society thinks we should do it another way. They inspire me to take time out of my day to be silly and laugh whether it is at my friends or family (in a good way), at a funny joke or at myself. They inspire me to appreciate all the little things in life and show gratitude, because to them, those little things already mean the world. They inspire me to celebrates life's moments, whether it's landing a new job, finding a lost hair tie, getting a day off or making that perfect cup of tea because any moment should be shared and celebrated because they are the things that make us smile and bring our loved ones closer together.
They are the reason why I've recently switched careers and am on the path to becoming a full time primary/junior teacher. They've inspired me to quit my job as a marketing professional to pursue something I'm truly passionate about. I'm going back to school to start this new career this year, and I absolutely can't wait to offer them the same or even more inspiration than they have given me to do the best they possibly can to pave the way for their better futures.

Here is a TEDtalk video that really demonstrates how inspirational children really are, hope everyone enjoys it!

Right now there are two major things that truly inspire me. The first being people who are lucky enough to find what it is that makes them happy and then have the courage to pursue it regardless of how stupid it may seem at the time. There is a guy that some of you may remember from a few years ago named Matt Harding who became famous for his videos of him traveling the world doing a stupid little dance. He used want to be a video game designer. When he finally became one he discovered that he wasn't especially good at it and the highlight of his day became doing this silly dance at his friends desk as he waited for him to get done working so they could go to lunch. One day he decided he was missing out on life and decided to quit his job and travel. Someone convinced him to do his trademark dance while being videotaped at various places he traveled and eventually it turned in to this.

It's simple. It's stupid and silly but sometimes the things that make you the most happy end up being that way.

I've also recently become increasingly inspired by childrens books; old fairy tales and books like Where the Wild Things Are, Alice in Wonderland, and Dr. Seus. There is a simple and magical way a childs imagination works that's absolutely fascinating to me. I grew up too fast and lost this magical way of seeing the world a long time ago but I remember reading simple little books no longer than 10 pages and being lost for hours in my imagination. I've been trying to reclaim that ability for a while now and have wrote a couple of stories over the past couple of years for the fun of it and have been thinking about publishing one day. I believe one of the worst things that could happen to someone is to forget how to see the magic in the world around them.

I am taking night art classes and the people that inspire me the most are the teachers. Most adults are there for a career change, others to hone their skills and some just as a hobby. But every class I have taken is welcomed by a teacher that is enthusiastic and passionate about what they are teaching. Many teach both during the day and at night. So they go from young dedicated art students where this is their future to career driven adults and these classes are low on their lists to jobs, spouses and kids. And yet these teachers continue to encourage and support our aspirations whatever it may be. Their focus and goal is for each of us to grow as an artist and they are driven by it!

Inspiration....where do I start? There are so many sources for many different fields and for starters, amazing sites like TheMet gives me inspiration. I always see great posts, featuring awesome art, photography, and many everyday things. Not to mention the awesome people I meet here.
Sites like GivesMeHope, encourages me and (still) touches me with their heartwarming stories. Shows me the world ain't such a bad place after all.
Music, is a great source of inspiration. Depending on what you listen to, it helps elevate the mood, and when you listen to the rhythm and the simple notes, it brings you to a different world. Music can move people.
People inspire me everyday. Hardworkers, life changers, family, friends, even the likes of Steve Jobs. The difference they can do in their lives and for others, inspire me to do the same.
Inspirational quotes, teaches me about the lessons in life, and reminds me of the challenges, hopes, dangers to come in the unpredictable future.
I know everything I say here is cheesy but I'm fine with that. I'm a cheesy person! Haha! To sum it all off (maybe for now?), inspiration(to me)comes when using one/all of your five senses, where it motivates you to create something out of the ordinary, to something extra special. Here's one of my favourite quotes by Mushir, thought it might be appropriate:

I generally get inspired by just seeing someone completely dedicated to their cause. Seeing someones passion, dedication and hardwork poured into their work tends to rub off on me.
As a computing student, Watching several Pixar films (recently UP!) has had a profound effect on me. Watching those beautiful films which are clearly labours of love, inspires me to study hard at university so that maybe one day I can work for Pixar and contribute to one of those fantastic movies and their luscious visuals.
Not only that, but the storylines of those films usually affect me as well. They inspire me to love, to be creative, and to keep hold of my childhood spirit which would otherwise be thrown out completely by the responsibilities of adulthood.
In short, Pixar inspires me because I know that one day if I carry on working and trying hard, I will have the skills necessary to contribute to one of those films and thus help bring a ray of sunshine into the hearts of the moviegoers across the world!
