Breathtaking Photo of a Frozen Waterfall in Argentina

Argentina-based photographer Guillermo Palavecino snapped these stunning photos of a frozen waterfall near Bariloche, Patagonia last year. Falling from a height of 20 meters, the waters seem to form an icy column amidst frost-covered rocks, creating a unique and breathtaking image of the normally flowing cascade suspended in time.

According to Palavecino, the 20-meter-high waterfall had frozen due to chilly temperatures. The photographer set a long exposure time that allowed him to capture the magical scene in all of its wintry, otherworldly glory.
