Banksy’s Street Art is Recreated Using Food

Throughout the years we've seen some great Banksy tributes including LEGO artwork, animated GIFS and even a Halloween costume. Over the course of a year, as a side hobby, NYC-based Harley Langberg experimented with various food related ingredients, including fresh produce, to create fun Bansky-related works of art.

Due to its darker color, Langberg used a lot of eggplant in his works. For instance, in the piece above of the sweeping maid, he cut up both eggplant and apple and then cleverly used the apple strips to create the illusion of a brick wall. Alternately, the soaring red balloon in the last image of this post was made of red pepper.
