On Friday the Westboro Baptist Church staged a protest outside Twitter headquarters in SF. Their disgusting signs were totally upstaged by a brilliant group who gathered carrying signs guaranteed to amuse and befuddle all passersby. Here are some of my favorites.

What a terrific answer to the intolerant group who started this. Make people laugh and forget about them. In the end the original group just gave up and left. Hooray for the good guys!

I have a friend who was at this protest. She led the crowd in a rendition of The Beatles "All You Need Is Love".

Wonderful! The Westboro church loves to be hated, because that fits with their apostolic image of themselves. Hopefully, laughter will send them scurrying for the shadows.
