Think you have great taste? Fashion, style and technology collide in the HP Ultrabook Laptop Design Competition, in collaboration with Project Runway! Designers were asked to come up with a fresh laptop bag design for the HP Envy Ultrabook. The slim, light and sleek-looking laptop boasts a strong battery life, a large screen and everything else you need for a laptop on the go.

A modern laptop deserves an equally stylish case and that's where you come in. The top 40 laptop bag designs have been selected by judges Mondo Guerra, winner of the Season 8 “Project Runway HP/Intel Challenge,” LinYee Yuan, Executive Editor of Core77 and Jill Fehrenbacher, Founder and Editor-In-Chief of Inhabitat.

Now it's up to you, our super stylish, design-loving viewers, to vote for your favorites!

Look through top submissions to check out all the different product designs. If you never believed laptop books could be both functional and stylish, then you have to check this out.

Pictured above is the HP Vertical Messenger bag that Mondo Guerra designed himself which is a modern, colorful take on the classic houndstooth pattern. From the nearly 400 entries, you can now look through the top 40 designs on HP's website. It's then up to you to decide who you believe deserve to be the five finalists that will receive their very own HP Spectre XT Ultrabook. A jury team will pick out the grand prize winner who'll take home a whopping $10,000 cash. Cast your vote before September 26, and then tell us in the comments section who you believe is going to win.
