When an artist’s bio reads: “Enjoys playing with her food, both recreationally and professionally,” how could you not be intrigued? For her ongoing project From Scratch, sculptor Judith G. Klausner seizes the opportunity to do what she loves: play with food. She recently began carving cameos of classical figures and Victorian-inspired women in the frosting of Oreo cookies. It is no wonder she has a love for small, intricate and overlooked things. How much fun would it be to carve cookies as part of your full-time job?
