Incredible Suspended Staircase


Here at theMET, we're all about celebrating creative, modern design. It's rare, but sometimes we come across something so radical, it stops us in our tracks.

This suspended staircase by German firm SoHo Architektur is a perfect example. My first thought was, "Is this real?" The visual effect it achieves is amazing!

The structural stability of the staircase is questionable at best, but it sure is beautiful. It's also practical, as it frees up tons of space. Here are more shots of the entire home:
