Introducing Microsoft's Secret Tablet, Courier

Wow, this baby looks cool! While everyone is holding their breath for the Apple tablet, Microsoft unveils their concept called Courier. Gizmodo got the first sneak peek, which they're calling more "booklet" than "tablet."

"The dual 7-inch (or so) screens are multitouch, and designed for writing, flicking and drawing with a stylus, in addition to fingers. They're connected by a hinge that holds a single iPhone-esque home button. Statuses, like wireless signal and battery life, are displayed along the rim of one of the screens. On the back cover is a camera, and it might charge through an inductive pad, like the Palm Touchstone charging dock for Pre."

Check out this video to see what's in store.

Courier is in the "late prototype" stages of development. Expect Apple to come out with their fully developed tablet soon!

For several years I used a Windows-based Tablet PC as my main computer. I really loved it but my company decided to standardize all computers and would no longer allow me to use it. This tablet though looks lightyears beyond what I had. It kind of looks like a cross between an iPhone, a Netbook, and a Tablet PC. I *really* want one of these!
