Incredible Metallic Sculptures of Famous People

William S. Burroughs

Sculptor James Bonner, aka bigmagnet, creates metallic sculptural pieces in the likeness of well-known people throughout history. There aren't any subjects that are off-limits to the artist who has already created the busts of famous writers, actors, musicians, athletes, and politicians. The eclectic mix of people in Bonner's collection includes anyone from William S. Burroughs and Edgar Allen to Charlie Sheen and Ron Paul.

Each face that the artist recreates captures a sense of the person that the sculpture is modeled after. The public figures that Bonner chooses each has something about him that is distinctly recognizable in his physical features. Devoid of color, the sculptor perfectly captures the half of Mike Tyson's face featuring his face tattoo as well as the stone-faced Buster Keaton's iconic expression.

Several of the sculptor's creations can be purchased through Hyaena Gallery.
