We've been following British artist Jason deCaires Taylor's submerged cement sculpture installation in Cancun for quite some time now (see here, here and here). Though one usually would experience his work, quite literally, under water, like at the world's first underwater sculpture park in Grenanda, West Indies, one can now see for oneself large photographs of his major projects at the Jonathan LeVine Gallery through July 28, 2012. Called Human Nature, it is his debut solo gallery exhibition.
Aside from those breathtaking photos, you'll see three fascinating cement heads in solid blocks of resin. The encapsulated items show how organic growth can form on cement after five years underwater.
