Jessica Hische Illustrated Drop Caps
If you are a blogger and you want to beautify your blog, but don't really have the art skills to make things yourself, you can borrow elements from other sources, like these wonderful drop caps made by graphic designer and illustrator Jessica Hische. Jessica started a project called The Daily Drop Cap. Every day (working day that is) she adds a new decoritavely designed letter of the alphabet. The embed code is provided on The Daily Dropcap site for you to use. Each of them look completely different and will help to jazz your blog up a bit.
Of course she doesn't only make the letters, she makes other great stuff too. It's one thing to make beautiful letters, it's whole other thing to apply text as an illustration. Basically, one needs to think about what font goes well with the feeling of what is being portrayed. She does that so well and so...here's some extra Jessica Hisch eyecandy.
