My Modern Metropolis

It was only 18 months ago that Russian Marat Dupri bought a Canon camera. In his quest to take extraordinary shots, the 19-year-old and his friends travel to the peak of Moscow's tallest structures, often having to sneak past security guards. To capture these nerve-wracking shots, they carefully walk around the edges of these buildings, completely unharnessed.

"When I am on the roof, I have a feeling that the whole world is by my feet," says Dupri. "All my problems and trouble are left somewhere down. The height exhilarates me.

"I've taken pictures from a 270 meter high radio mast that was still in use. I got a huge adrenaline rush from taking the pictures, but I had a severe headache for several days after - I think it was from radiation. It was worth it to get such amazing photos though."
