Lonely Planet’s Magnificent Mosaic Competition (20 photos)

Lonely Planet just wrapped their mosaic competition to celebrate their 100 millionth guidebook. They asked their readers to submit their favorite travel photos, the ones that gave them a truly memorable experience. From the beaches of Brazil to the deserts of Iraq, travelers submitted photos spanning the entire globe. After receiving over 130,000 entries, a panel of expert judges chose Sreesailam Pasupula, 33, from Mumbai, their winner for her gorgeous shot of five glamorous women parading on a performance stage at Pushkar ka Mela, an annual five-day camel fair in India.

You can take a look at 50 of their favorites on Lonely Planet's website or experience theMET's top 20 right here. Taken from a global community of travelers, these photos will leave you awe-struck, inspired, and completely breathless! Sagaing, Myanmar (Burma)
