Lowbrow Art: Pop Surrealism In San Diego
Looks like the Oceanside Museum of Art in San Diego, is jumping on the pop surrealist/lowbrow bandwagon. Jeez, who would have thought that this once completely underground art form would become so critically acclaimed? In any case, Lowbrow Art: Pop Surrealism in San Diego will feature art by Scott Saw (work above), Mary Fleener, Charles Glaubitz, Pamela Jaeger, Tim McCormick, Scrojo, Jason Sherry, Jen Trute, and Ron Whorton.
Lowbrow Art: Pop Surrealism in San Diego will open on Saturday, Jan 24th from 5-7 pm, and the exhibit will remain on view thru My 24, 2009.
