Madrid's Barajas Airport


I flew out of this airport some years ago and it's fantastic interiors fascinated me. It really is a beautiful airport. The mix of timber and metal, the curved ceilings, the big lights all worked perfectly together. It is a very unique and unusual design (as is Denver's DIA but that is a whole other style and structure)










The architects were the Richard Rogers Partnership and it was designed in conjunction with Estudio Lamela.
