Creative Animal Illustrations Play with Shapes and Colors

Boston-based street artist and graphic designer Matt W. Moore of MWM Graphics recently released a series of digital animal illustrations in his self-dubbed “Vectorfunk” style. The ongoing Wildlife series features 10 animals, thus far, including a sea turtle, sunfish, sparrow, squirrel, cricket, scarab beetle, moose, raccoon, lobster, and vampire bat.

The series allows Moore to play with shape, color, and design to reproduce engaging and recognizable animal silhouettes. Each creature in the series boasts its own color palette and eye-catching geometric pattern. The artist uses a modern, minimalist aesthetic to produce his charming illustrations, while creatively challenging himself in the process.
