Enlighted created these illuminated costumes for M.I.A.'s performance on the main stage at the Coachella Music Festival back in 2009. The dancers' suits were outlined in multiple colors of electroluminescent wire, with an intentionally loose aesthetic that made them appear to be live dancing versions of a sketch. M. I. A's awesome! Loving it. If they were able to capture the light movement in slow motion, that would be sooo pretty! And I would prefer this compared to the messy glow in the dark paints used in Black Eyed Peas video.
