Miniature People’s Glass Cathedrals

All the Days

Miniature people are all the rage these days. It should come as no surprise because they're not only unbelievably cute, their worlds, often times, hold a deeper meaning.

Marin County, California-based artist Lisa Swerling's Glass Cathedrals are a series of artboxes that contain these tiny worlds. Each one makes a statement on our own complicated world. Her inspiration? The collision between the seriousness we hold in viewing our lives and our lack of complete understanding. “In Glass Cathedrals, the heroes are the tiny figures, my boxes the space where they struggle, aspire, dance, dream,” Swerling shares.

Love how these tiny people are on a mission to inspire!
