Elevated Getaway Home Offers Undisturbed Views of Chilean Seaside

Both land and sea are visible from Mirador, an elevated home perched on a steep cliff that's located off the coast of Tunqun, Chile. Designed by Gubbins Arquitectos, its meant as a getaway from the hustle and bustle of nearby Santiago. Here, residents can bask in solitude and take advantage of all that the secluded landscape has to offer.

The 1,450-square-foot Mirador has a ramp that leads from the ground to the main floor of the house. Once inside, there's a large living space that connects two outdoor terraces: one with views of water and the other of land. This main level also features a set of spiral stairs up to the roof deck, which offers more incredibly scenic sights–it's perfect for admiring the sunrise and sunset, as well as watching those on the beach below.
