Modern Architecture - Nestlé Application Group: Querétaro, Mexico (7 pics)

It's almost like someone took a big bite out of the these cube-like structures designed by Rojkind Arquitectos for food conglomerate, Nestlé. The "Nestlé Application Group" was recently completed in Querétaro, Mexico and consists of laboratories, offices, an auditorium and a tasting area.

Because the center of Querétaro was declared a World Heritage by the UNESCO in 1996, the new building was required to have a portico with arches. Instead of creating a complex solution, Rojkind Arquitectos created a simple system of semi spherical domes made out of steel arches and rings that led an easy construction with local workers.

The exterior is clad in metallic, reflective glass while the interiors are painted in bright colors.
