Modern Design: Floating Conference Table (10 pics)

Bulgarian designer Jovo Bozhinovski wanted to create a meeting place that would leave an imprint on people's minds. The result is this incredible conference table that appears to float in mid-air.

Taking into consideration the hierarchy of a company, the manager's seat is positioned squarely in the middle, on top of a steel platform. The platform is covered with glass and anchors the rest of the table. The other two thirds of the table floats in mid-air, so bumping into the legs of a table or feeling constrained is no longer an issue.
