Though it took video cartoonist, Dan Meth, on and off over 7 months to complete this video, it's safe to say that it was all worth it. (Watch the CNN segment about it.) With the 10 year anniversary of 9/11 looming, his video, called Twin Tower Cameos, serves as a stark reminder of just how iconic the World Trade Center buildings were to New York. Featuring over 75 clips, the movie montage feels upbeat, mostly due to Meth's choice of background music, but you can't help but feel a heaviness in your heart as you spot those buildings in the background.
"From 1969 to 2001, the Twin Towers made countless cameos in Hollywood films," said Meth. "Sometimes featured prominently in the foreground, sometimes lurking in the distance. This montage celebrates the towers' all-too-short film career with songs that capture the passing decades. Man, I miss them."
