A new trailer just got released for this movie Paper Heart. Part documentary part fiction, the story follows comedian/actress Charlyne Yi (of Knocked Up) who has never been in love and is not even sure if she is capable of loving someone. Yi goes on a cross country journey to try to further understand the concept of love. Along the way she interviews married couples, newly weds, divorcees, a gay couple, a romance novelist, scientists, a married judge and lawyer, a psychic, a group of young children, and even some of her friends, including Seth Rogen. They each offer diverse views on modern romance, as well as various answers to the age-old question: does true love really exist? Li then meets real-life boyfriend Michael Cera, playing himself, and begins to develop a relationship.
Critics have been giving this movie good reviews but are a bit perplexed as to whether certain scenes are real or fake. Entertainment Weekly says this could be the sleeper hit of the Summer.
I'm interesting in seeing how people interpret modern day love.
