Tiny Home Village Offers Travelers a Pint-Sized Getaway in the Mountains

Are you fascinated by the tiny home trend? If you've ever thought about living in this type of small dwelling, you can soon try it at the Mt. Hood Village located just outside of Portland. Starting at the end of May, they'll welcome travelers to their new Tiny House Village that boasts five accommodations ranging in size between 175 and 260 square feet.

The Tumbleweed Tiny House Company is the mastermind behind these small getaways. Each has a distinct name and style: the sleek and rugged Atticus; the rustic Lincoln; the “wild and free” Zoe; the down-home grace of Savannah, and the farmhouse charm of Scarlett. They feature cedar-plank siding and are equipped with modern conveniences, including a queen-sized bed, kitchen, loft space, and living room with a TV. Depending on the model, between three and five people can sleep comfortably in the homes.

The resort is well positioned to offer the best of both worlds. Outdoorsy vacationers will love hiking and the breathtaking views of Mt. Hood, while those who want to experience the local culture can easily enjoy the nearby dining and arts for which Portland is known. The Village Resort is currently accepting advance bookings.
