My Modern Met Featured on Flipboard's Infographic

Early on, we were a fan of Flipboard because we knew it would give you, our visitors, an easy and beautiful way to see our content on your iPad (and now on your iPhone or Android). If you haven't downloaded their app yet, we still highly recommend that you do.

Recently, they created an eye-opening infographic that shows just how popular the social newsreading app has become. The two-year old company has now more than 20 million registered users and 1.5 million daily users. Astounding numbers.

We've been lucky enough to have some of our posts featured in their Flipboard Picks section, which brings both you, our loyal visitors, as well as new people who have just discovered My Modern Met into our site. In fact, it was to our total surprise that one particular post was included in this infographic: Extraordinary Travel Destinations Off the Beaten Path.

Just wanted to give a big thanks to Flipboard for believing in us just as we believed in them. When I first heard of Flipboard, I reached out to them so to see if they might include us in their list of publishers. Though at that time we were already two years old, they still took a gamble on us. As we look back two years later, we've developed a great relationship with Flipboard on a more personal level, and their success and motivation to keep innovating inspires us to also want to do more.
