My one year anniversary on theMet !!

Tomorrow is one year since I first opened my account here on theMet! I've had the privilege to put up 110 blog posts (more than 2 per week!), 552 discussion comments (wow!), 18 photos, 18 videos and had 53 comments on my page (Thank you all!). Those of you who know me here may think that this photo below is more appropriate for the occasion than the one above:

Either way I am happy to be here. I can honestly say that I have found this to be the best place on the Net !!! Thanks so much to Alice for creating it and Eugene for always making it so special. And a big thank you to all or our regulars for the awesome contributions you make. Every single day I come here I see something new / cool / different that really makes me think. For those of you who are relatively new here I say WELCOME. I hope you'll stick around and find out how cool this place really is.

Your perspective is so fresh and you inspire me who along with you is of the 30+ set. I count you as a comrade who can keep up with these young kids, and bring camaraderie and friendship in the mix. Happy Anniversary Mark, and I hope that this relationship continues to only become deeper and stronger.

I've always believed that we were the lucky ones...because somehow someone brought us together. To say that this is "the best place on the Net" is such a huge compliment. I'm not sure if we can live up to that standard that but we sure as hell will try. :)
